The Computing, Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity team would like to wish a Happy New Year to our students and a welcome back to term after a festive season break.
Whether you are in your first or third year of study, the beginning of a New Year is an excellent opportunity to think about things you would do differently.
Earlier this year we welcomed our new first year students, providing them with some top tips to keeping organised in their studies (Humphries, 2016). With a few months under their belts, it might be an ideal opportunity for students to think whether they have been able to take on board these tips, or are some students New Year’s resolutions aligned to their studies.
Some examples might be to stop procrastinating, be more organised, improve or renew your passwords, be a better time keeper, do more or less extra-curricular activities, read more, get healthier and fitter, or even spend less.
Have you set your New Year’s resolutions?
